Jan Bozarth
Jan has 30 years experience in writing, producing and designing youth media properties. As VP Creative for Girl Games she created and produced the first games for girls, completed the research for a National Science Foundation Grant, and secured an investment from Mattel Media. Jan went on to design and produce games for Mattel's biggest franchises including Barbie and Diva Starz. She has been a designer and producer for Disney Imagineers, Simon and Schuster Interactive, Microsoft, and other major studios. Jan launched her own book writing career with an eight book deal with Random House for The Fairy Godmother Academy Girl's Fantasy series. She recently wrote the follow-on series for young teens, Coded4Greatness which begins release in 2022. Jan has been a visiting professional at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center and is the first Fellow at Texas Immersive, University of Texas school devoted to immersive media and entertainment technologies. Jan's mission is to tell stories that inspire youth, empowers young girls, and amplifies climate science through digital and real-time experiences. |
